This Sunday I preached what I think is the most important sermon I have preached since coming here last July. One reason I believe this is because this Sunday began a six-week series in both traditional and modern worship we are calling Living A Better Story.
This Sunday, as we begin this series the scripture was John 3:1-3. Every life is a story and you and I are living our story right now. But are we living the story we want to live? Are we living the story God wants us to live? Do we want to live a better story? How do we do that? These are the questions we will be dealing with over the next six weeks culminating in an experience for us individually, in our families, and as a church that will be transformative.
